Emirates has introduced new self moisturising pyjamas for first class passengers on their Airbus A380 and Boeing 777 flights. This premium and high tech sleepwear has been designed to pamper passengers and help combat dehydration and drying out of skin during long haul flights.
How does it work?
The pyjamas are made from a material that contains billions of miniscule capsules that release sea kelp extract - from the Antarctic Ocean - to help hydrate the skin with rich nutrients. This helps with circulation and keeps the skin from drying out.
How long does it last?
Emirates have said that the world first 'Hydra Active Microcapsule Techonlogy' will last for about 10 washes so that travellers can make the use of these high-tech pyjamas when they arrive at their destination - whether that be back home or at a hotel. After the 10 washes, the sleepwear will turn back into normal pyjamas.
What else is included?
As well as the the pyjamas, the kits will include an eye mask and matching slippers in an elegant felt pouch. In the A380 showers suites, skincare products by Irish brand VOYA will also be included while Amenity kits -by Italian brand Bvlgari- will also be included for both first class and business class flyers.
