Technology Company DJI have created the Mavic Pro, a lightweight and compact drone that weighs in at just 743 grams.

This small quadcopter's dimensions folded down are 83 x 83 x 198 mm thus allowing the drone to fit into a small bag and be transported just about anywhere.

Made from tough plastic, the Mavic Pro is nothing if not durable. Designed to be foldable, portable and nimble, its gimbal-mounted camera is 12 megapixels and takes 4K video.

The Mavic Pro can fly at over 64 kilometres per hour and can stay in the air for up to 27 minutes per charge. Its fast speed makes it handy for making the most out of its battery run time. Its automated takeoff and landing is easy for users and flying the drone itself is quite straightforward. Its remote control is also built for long-range flight which is very useful.

The Mavic Pro's camera feed is directly sent to your smartphone while you're flying it so you can see what you're recording and taking photos of in real time.

It features a handy ActiveTrack feature in which the camera visually tracks and keeps the subject (such as a person) in the centre of the frame as it moves around.

It has inbuilt obstacle collision detection and although the Mavic Pro has the speed, it also has the capability to make minute changes in the air whilst keeping itself level and upright.

You can shoot in RAW, JPEG or DNG format for still images and for video, it has a wide range of different frames and resolutions to choose from.

The Mavic Pro is perfect for travellers wanting to take a portable drone on their next adventure.
