Bose has brought out the second incarnation of its popular QuietComfort QC 35 headphones, this time featuring a built-in Google Assistant.

Featuring all the same features as the first generation model (excellent noise cancellation, runs via Bluetooth, comfortable design, cordless but features a wire mode if the battery dies), the headphones now include a specific Google Assistant button on the left earcup. This new button means you can give Google assistant commands or ask questions using voice-activated technology. This eliminates the need to reach for your smartphone when wanting to use Google Assistant.

The voice-activated functions include: curating music playlists by skipping and choosing songs, reading received text messages back to you, making phone calls, to-do list creation, making calendar meetings and for the tech-savvy traveller, looking up your flight to see if it's running on time.

The app for these headphones (Bose Connect App) lets you change the level of noise cancellation depending on your needs, whether you want to shut out noise completely or let a little noise in, the choice is yours.

The QuietComfort Q35 II headphones come in a range of black or silver.
